The sun and the moon
The sun is a star. It’s a ball of fire. The moon is rocky and hard. It’s not hot. The sun sends out light, but the moon doesn’t. In fact, the moon reflects the light.
The moon is about 240.000 miles away from us; the sun is 93 million miles; that’s why the moon looks almost as large as the sun.
