Mulla Nasrudin came by, stopped and asked: ‘What is that thing?’ ‘Fire alarm.’ ‘I've seen them before – they don’t work,’ said the Mulla. ‘What do you mean?’ ‘The bell rings all right, but the fire burns just the same.’” In the previous text, the engineer insisted in trying to fix a bell that does not work.
